Nov. 15th, 2019 03:45 pm• an Ourelle ( equivalent to foreign diplomat, working under the guidance of the king-esque royal, Idelle ) of the former outer-system planet known as Pollux V
• formerly known as the sweet-tongued ourelle, she is clever, coy, and well-educated if a bit hesitant to truly get her hands dirty
• has strong opinions
• despite her small stature and worn-out finery ( most of the jewels sold off to pay her way through prior transportation ), her stoic appearance is intimidating at first, but when comfortable, she can joke with the best of them
• her diplomatic rule several cycles ago, representing her planet in a galactic union, lasted for less than a year when an inner system union of planets preyed upon the people and infiltrated her planet from the inside-out, believing everyone unfit to rule, using a combination of propaganda and brute force to turn the people against council who firmly believed in its planet's status outside of the planetary systems
• the council and their supporters were unceremoniously cast aside and scattered through the galaxy by various captors
• it's her longterm dream to reunite her family and she's determined to learn how to balance diplomacy, fight tactics, and knowledge of the stars in hopes of one day returning to her home
• after escaping her captors and with news of her planet's disruption years behind her, she has been acting as a quartermaster of sorts on a pirate ship of all places, learning the benefits of playing dirty once in a while, keeping track of ship maintenance and sweet-talking their way through space
• at 24 years old, sola is stern but caring, accustomed to shouldering emotional burdens in favor of addressing her own. she is clever and witty, keeping her cards close to her chest especially when it comes to her plans to find her missing family members. the ship has become her family but she will always have a missing piece to her heart.
